Richard Childress will pilot a commerative #3 car at Lowe's Motor Speedway on October 11th to honor seven-time Winston Cup Champion Dale Earnhardt... this will be the first time the black #3 has circled the track since Earnhardt's death in 2001...

...i think they decided to do this commerating RJR/Winston since they are leaving the sport... and i think that announcement came after the 2nd Daytona race... although they probably could've waited til the Daytona 500 next year to celebrate RJR... but then again... Nextel will be celebrating their entry into the sport... lol i dunno.. i agree it would be nice to have it at Daytona...

how long do you guys think Nextel will last? I give them 3 years...5 at the most. I was hoping that Coke would have taken over, but oh well. Also, you guys hear about Sunoco replacing Unical 76 as the official fuel?
