This is a great site. I have found lots of good sources for modding my 3400 here. My 3400 is in a 2002 monte carlo, but no other 6th gen. LS owners seem to be too interested in making their cars faster.

Go to the gmartsdirect, or wherever you get your stuff and here are the part numbers:

24504184 for the shield
24504832 for the oil filler tube (you MUST get this)

grand total from gmpd was $36 and change, shipped. Not bad in my book.

I masked the letters and painted it black, as it comes in grey plastic with silver letters. I am currently working on getting some vinyl overlays made for the 3400 SFI letters.
