I have it. It's a great alarm. It was part of my del when I bought my car. I would suggest it afterwards. It's WAY expensive compared to aftermarket. Besides, I heard an aftermarket company makes it anyway. All it is is a dome ligt sensor and shock sensor. It's the best shock sensor I've ever come across though.

I suggest Alpine as an alarm. The Alpine 150R has shock sensor, dome light, and a perimeter sensor. It's super smart and won't be tripped by just anything. However, all perimeter alarms are aimed at front and rear. Just side cause they only work well through glass. Nothing will really help protect your headlight covers.

I have the Alpine 150R system. It is great! If you set the perimiter sensors at the most sensitive setting, when you get close to it and break its "Barrier", it will go into full alarm. I am very happy wiht how it works. You adjust all of the settings via the key fob- very easy to do, as long as you follow the directions. I have only had one false alarm with it, the sprinkler system in my yard came on, and the jet of water from the sprinkler head invaded its "barrier" and set the alarm off. After I adjusted it down a notch, it was all good. It is in my orange car- I can show you how it works on Saturday if you are going to be at the meet in Milwaukee! I think that American TV has them on sale right now. I got mine at circuit city, and they did a great job installing it. I would recommend the Alpine system also.
