Alright well I went and put the Jamstraight LED's in the brake light sockets on my 2003 GA. I used the directions posted on here and they worked great.

I started my car up tonight and ran back in the house and when I came back out I noticed the third brake light was lit up and the LED's looked like they were also lit up. I had someone tap on the brakes for me so I could check and nothing happened, the lights were just constantly bright.

What is happening here??

Also, I noticed yesterday that when I went to use the keyless entry, the third brake light lit up along with the two brake lights when it flashes twice, and it doesn't normally do that. I guess ever since then my brake lights have been like this....

What should I check?

Well I don't see what could have shorted on me...I changed the pins around just the way it said for that one socket in each tail lamp and it was working great for a couple of weeks.

Now just yesterday and tonight they have been constantly lit.

Question, are you suppose to use dielectric grease on the metal electrical connections for the LED Bulbs before you install them?? That couldnt short it out could it?

Probably not related but i had the same problem with my brake lights staying on and i though it was the switch, so i went out and bough a new one it was only 8 dollars, So I pulled off the Kick pannal and got to the switch and i reolized that it was just an ajustment that needed to be done. now they are fine.

Sounds to me like your third brake light is tapped into your parking light wire and not the brake light wire.

I found the problem....some of that dielectric grease smeared and basically created a short between a few of the connectors on the LED sockets. I'm not sure which one it was exactly, but I cleaned all of the grease off and now everything works like it's suppose to.
