I rotated my tires last week and ever since I have had a “rattle or clicking" noise coming from the front tires when I turn. I triple checked the lugs... I am not sure if it is the lug covers (2003 Tourqed rims) or what. I was just curious if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks.

If you're rims are balanced in alloy mode it's possible the stick on wheel weight is clipping the caliper...

"triple checked the lugs" meaning at 100 ft/lbs or as tight as you could get them?

A stick on weight would fall off the minute it hit a caliper, not to mention there's a decent amount of space between the rim and caliper.

I tourqed them to 105 lbs.

After having a friend drive it I think I have found out what it is. It sounds like the "cover" for the lugs on my touqred rims. It sounds like they are not tight, but to the best I know...they are. They are really set-up kind of half-a**. I would explain what I mean, but unless you have delt with them yourself....there is no way to explain it. I am just going to have to have the dealer "Learn" me as to what the hell is up with them.

You're on the right track. The covers seem to wear and get kinda sloppy. Just for a test you might want to swap the fronts with the rears and see if the noise goes away.

A "clicking" when turning usually indicates bad axle shafts.

Its not that, it started when the tires were rotated.
