ugh, so I've been having this nagging problem for a few months that I can't track down.
When starting the car but more often while driving, the gauge cluster, power windows (but not the locks), ac/vent system will shutdown. Sometimes they stop and then come back right away, sometimes it stays that way for a few minutes. Worst has been maybe 5 minutes.
During this period the car is still running and drives normally, I just can't tell what speed I'm going.
Now my car was broken into a while ago and the insurance company said that it might be the ignition switch? I think. But at the same time I had the battery leak out and corrode the positive cable so I was sure that was the problem.
Well I fixed the battery cables, problem still exists.
Anyone got any ideas of what I should be checking?
