Well every time I start the car now my ABS light comes on. I figured maybe I was low on brake fluid cause that can cause the light to come on. Well it was a little low put fluid in and now the light still stays on. I even tried disconnectin the battery, doesn't work. Without me having to take it to the dealership does anyone know what can be causing the light to come on, and stay on. I have noticed too that my volt meter acts funny when that light is on. I have no idea whats going on.

Is your voltage reading low? If it is, could be the ABS system is off. You may then have a bad alternator and battery.

Could be a bad sensor somewhere too.

is there a certain code that gets thrown when your abs light comes on because of a bad alternator? I thought my alternator was acting up when my abs light was coming on.... because my voltage guage was slightly low and kinda jumpy. But I took it to autozone and it was putting out 103 amps. So i am not sure what the problem is with mine either.

It should be throwing a code.

I installed i higher output alternator. Im thinking the sensor could be loose. I also did run a 4 guage wire from the alternaotr 2 the battery. Should I have ran another ground wire from the battery to the chasis of the car?

Take off your wheels... I'm not sure if you HAVE TO, but if you take of your caliper there some kind of sensor... check that out.

If the ABS light is staying on, then it set a code.. go get it read. (somewhere with a Tech2 or device capable of pulling codes from devices besides the PCM)

Well the stupid light is off. I have no idea, it has to be that the sensor was loose or something. I dunno Im gonna look at it more over the weekend. Just wish I could get my SES light to go off. I put a new IAT sensor in, and that didn't stop it from comming on. Even tho the code says its that. I dunno the car is going to the dealership on Tues. to be looked at since i can't figure out whats wrong with it.

On my '95 after I changed the bearing in the rear I forgot to hook the sensor back up and that will throw the code out. I might have just been a loose connection somewhere.

Well im thinking it might be a connection. Cause when I installed my intake it started to do it a few days afterwards. I am just going to take the tire off and plug everthing and make sure its all tight and secure, but as of right now the light was off this morning.

Well the light came back on Sunday nite. The car is at the dealership getting checked out for the ABS light and SES light. When I shift into drive the whole engine shifts and jolts. Im thinking it might be my motor mounts that are bad.
