Sweet yo, thanx I just got my oil changed and tires rotated and they told me my brakes needed changed and that only 2 mm were left, I was gonna go to Niagara Falls this weekend but looks like I will have to change plans and go next weekend, I don't wanna chance it. Thank You
If you are very light on them.... but you never know when some idiot cuts in front of you and you have to slam on the brakes - then there goes your 2 mm.

u could change em, but its not nesessary. Think about it this way...ur stock pads are like what....1 cm in thickness...when brand new...u got 2 mm...thats 20% of pad left....u can easily make it, but make plans to change em soon

Just to be on the safe side I got them changed today, they put on lifetime pads and turned the rotors for a total of 130 bucks I guess that the price isnt too bad compared to midas which would of charged me like 260 bucks.

Yes I'm serious and NO! I'm not joking....
My 2001 GT1 still has 1/4"of material left...Thats about 6MM .These are the original pads...so its possible to get 6 months or more from 2mm of pad.

Just FYI you can get OEM pads for about 35 bucks and install them yourself.. Rotors can be turned for about 8 bucks each at a local garage. Ceramics are about 75 bucks.. Those brake places are fine but the markup is rediculous. If you have no serious brake problems its easy for you to do and save.

I should try changing them myself next time and save some money, they put on resbestos(I think thats the spelling) pads but im not sure how much them pads would of cost if I would of bought them myself.
