I'm going to school at 8am tomorrow, so i want to get this fixed tonight since i wont have many tools up there. Anyways I bought the blazertech 2200 fog lights since mine were shaddered from hittin a tire on the freeway last summer. Anyways i got it all in everythings great but when i run the switched wire to the old fog lights main wire, it doesn't work. I know the wiring is good becasue if i run the switched wire straight to the fuse box power the lights work great. I checked both purple wires (driver and passenger) and neither of them are getting power, and the little light on the fog light button is lighting up either. I think it may have not been lighting up for a long time as i haven't used the fog lights for about a year. My question is can i just run the switched wire to a fuse that gets its power from the running lights that way it will just come on when the running lights come on? I dont want to havfe a switch and turn them on and off each time, but rather come on with the parking lights or the factory switch. Thanks!! Oh and i checked the fog light fuse on the passenger side fuse box and its fine...
