Well I figure I would post this. I know everyone has been talking about how the *** kit is so much stronger than the AAS kit. Well I have news for everone. It is pretty darn strong. I have the AAS front and today on my way to work a bird decided he wanted to be spread all over my bumper. I hit the Pigeon doing about 50 miles per hour just a little off center of the bottom part of the bumper. The bird blew up and went all over my car. A leg was still hanging on the front when I stopped the car. But there was NO damage at all. NO spider webs in the paint, NO cracks in the bumper, NO chips missing, NOTHING other than alot of blood and bird parts. So I dont want to hear another word about the *** kit being SO much better in quality than the AAS kit. It is a great quality and as you can see pretty darn strong.

Try hitting a parking block with the kit and see if it breaks. I know people with *** kits that have done this. Don't get me wrong, I'm no *** supporter. Their attitude sucks and their products are over priced, but you can't deny the quality. Hitting a bird just isn't much of a test of strength you know. Besides, strength isn't the only measure of quality. I would never buy the AAS kit because of the fitment issues people have had (and I think it's butt ugly). I'd rather pay the extra $450 for a kit that I don't have to do so much work on. Of course I'd really rather have someone else (like RKSport) come out with a decent looking affordable kit instead of sending my money to ***.

if you are ramming your car into parking blocks, you deserve to have your fasia shattered in a million pieces, ***, AAS, stock, or whatever.

I have to agree with Jagey, if you dont know how to drive and realize you just spent 1600+ dollars on a body kit you are pretty stupid. hitting a bird at 50 mph isnt a test? what should I do see if i can find a car to play tag with? And fitment.....hhmm I didnt have one bit of trouble putting my AAS front on....BUT I did have a hell of a time putting my *** sides on. What does that tell you?

Settle down guys. I'm just saying they both suck. Not taking sides remember. And NO, hitting a feaking pigeon is NOT a test. They are small, soft, and light. Birds have hollow bones for gods sake. They are not heavy enough to bend fiberglass and make paint spider.

Dude its not just coming from us that the *** kit is of great quality. My autobody man told me that my kit was probably the best quality kit he has seen (other than a Veilside he put on for some rich *******.... although he said *** wasnt far off) and he knows nothing about the *** clique so he has no reason to be *jealous*
Im with Pucci, I had no fitment issues with my AAS kit, and I can speak for the strength of the kit last week I was forced to turn into a very steep incline to quickly (probably 20mph)and hit the pavement very hard so hard i though my bumper was toast... but all is good some minor scratches on the underside but thats it...
Ron
... Also... if you think about it a pigeons weigh about a 1.3 lbs on average and 1.3 lbs if you figure in the speed of a pigeon about 10-15mph and the speed of the vehicle 50 mph you get a force of about 100ft lbs... put all that in something the size of a grapfruit that makes for a pretty sizeable impact, and at that point density doesnt matter much.

...when i got my wing i had repairs that had to be made before it could be painted and assembled... my body shop guy thought that for the money i paid the quality wasn't there...

Don't forget the shoutbox where we can claim victory, laugh out loud (a lot).... and then act like 10 year olds and call potential customers assclowns and various other colorful names. (I still have a hard time believeing they do this and don't seem to care how it makes them look...)
