tint %

I want to get my windows tinted and was thinking about 25% tint. Is it pretty dark or should i go darker 25% is the limit in tx.

"Limo" is 15%......Too dark for me. I think the key is to have the same % all the way around.

Where in Texas? I lived in Wichita Falls, Tx for 7 years and was driving there for 4 years of that 7. I had on both of my cars there the legal limit which was 35% on the front doors and 5% on every other window. I dont know if your area has different rules about tint but I never got harassed about my tint. I have 35% on my doors (2 door) and 5% on the rear opera windows and the rear window and also have a 5% strip across my front window. It is very illegal here in Rhode Island but I am not taking it off unless i get stopped.

people need to learn to decide tint levels themselves, everyone has their own opinion. Asking people is irrelevant.

This chart (http://www.iwfa.com/iwfa/Law_Chart/State%20Law%20Chart.htm) said the law in tx changed in 2003 to 25%.

Does limo tint depend on the state? I assume limo tint is different in every state because they have to abide by state laws. Here limo tint is 5% because in michigan we are allowed to have 5% on all rear windows. Just something I never really thought about.

I am 20% all the way around with the windshield at 35% and a strip of 5%

I was involved in a car accident and only have the ability to see out of my right eye, this makes me VERY sensitive to light.....otherwise DO NOT tint your windshield. I carry a doctors note with me at all times stating that I am legal to have the tint.

If 25% is the limit i would go with limo all the way around...minus the windshield...I have limo all the way around...it's a little harder to see a night but I just roll my windows down...I think it's well worth it for the look of limo...

actually 5% is limo tint, the guy thats done my windows is the best around here, and he does all the limo services in the area. 5% on my baby is the best look ever, imo.
