hey im new here, and going to buy a 99 SE with 31,000 miles. 4 door silver, with the 3.4 engine. getting it for 6,200$ is it a good deal? I read some posts about the SE being a lil bit slower then a GT I test drove both and didnt really notice a difference, but what are some begginer mods? Does the SE have the premium sound option? because I it had tweeters. so im wondering if i should keep the stock system or get a new Head unit.
thanks.

Do you know if that car is SE1 or SE2? I think premium sound was optional for both trims. GT is definitely faster than SE V6, but not by much. You can start off with cat back exhaust and cold air intake. Those will give you some gains easily. $6200 seems like a good deal to me, with low mileage.

picked up the car, does anyone know how the GM warenty works? the car has about 31,000 miles but it was manufactured over 3 years ago. its a 99, so is the warenty still good because the miles are under 36k?

if you are looking for some good mods to do then www.gaupgrade.com has a pretty comprehensive list....

That sounds like a pretty good deal to me. The only computer upgrades or chips that i know of have been causing problems for a lot of people, so i would stay away from that. A cat-back and cai are the two most popular upgrades and probably the most bang for your buck......

The basic warranty is 3 year/36000 miles, whichever comes first. Unless you have extended warranty?

It just requires 87. But I have been using 89.
