I'll get some pics for you later today. It seems like after 4 months (bought in May '03), the color is gone. It looks like a regular halogen. Maybe it's just me. You be the judge when you see the pics.

I've had the same problem with aftermarket bulbs. Fortunately though, I have not had a single issue with the Silverstars. I like 'em a lot. They don't give the "blue" look that a lot of people want, but I could care less about it looking blue. I just wanted a bright set of headlights that would last...and I got that with the Silverstars.

Then what's the point? It's suppose to give a white/blue look. I don't see that anymore. For me, it's a waste of $40.

What I meant was that they aren't for people that want the BLUE look, but they do give off WHITE light. They seem to be brighter than stock, which is always good.

I like the WHITE look over the BLUE look and I like the brightness.

I've had the silverstars for about three months now and they still look white.

I remember reading somewhere about a company producing projector headlamps for our cars...is that going to happen?

I've had mine for a good 6 or 7 months now. I will admit that there are times when the headlights look yellow...and times when they look white. Depends on the weather and what type of road you are on. I have to say that everytime I thought they looked yellow, whenever I would come up to another car with stock bulbs, I realized mine were a decent amount more white - course this is also with the Blazer3200s.

I definitely like the silverstars a lot, they light up the road and signs really well. Only thing I need to do is clean the inside of the housing, mine's got a slight film on it that I think blocks a lot of the light. Once I clean that I think they will be good. They do have a nice white look to them still when you look at the car from any distance. I'll try to snap a few pics tonight or tomorrow and show you what a good 7 months do.

They might have gotten a little more yellow, and if they did, I would somewhat attribute that to the DRLs.

I have another set of Krypton Blue 80/100 watt that are a slight bit more white (4200K) and they look awesome! Only problem with them is they are hard to get adjusted, focal point is off on those bulbs.

My problem is whenever you get above say 4300K, you seem to really loose a lot of the functionality of the bulb (not talking HIDs mind you). So that's why I've stayed away from the really white/blue (5000K+) bulbs.
