I originally installed my gauges about a month and a half before i started having problems. I would just check and see if you have tight connections all around. My gauges worked great and all of a sudden they quit lighting. Yes i do have them at the constant 12 volt source through the fog light assembly underneath the button. So i started playing around w/ the wires and unplugged all of them. I plugged them in one by one and they lit up fine until i got to my gas gauge plug. To this day, been about 3 weeks, the gas gauge will not light up at night but the other 3 do, it's fine with me. But if anyone knows why that would be could you let me know. As for the needles not moving when you press on the gas, all i can say is check the connections between the wires and make sure everything is connected fully. Then make sure that your gauges are tightly fixed onto the original ones and not sticking up. good luck

sounds to me the overlay face is sticking out pushing up against the needles where they cant move. First i would find a better way to stick the faces down where they are more flush.
Secondly you can pull the needles out a little where they sit out from the gauge face, that will help keep them from hitting the faces.

They appear to be away far enough from the overlays..They move to the right when the car starts, then slam back to the left and saty there..Really odd

yeah if you took your needles off you could have not got them aligned back right. A way to check is when you turn the car on do they go ALL THE WAY over to the right as in all the way to the 150 mark, if they do then most likely they are aligned right. If its not that it has to be the needles are touching the overlays dude. Thats all i can think of.

I popped the needles off, but made notes of where they were..I am gonna try moving them further away form the overlay and see if that helps...
What did you use as an adhesive? Panacea used double sided carpet tape on his and mine and they work perfectly. If you use anything that's thick, the base of your needle will be slowed down or won't move at all.

I used double sided poster tape...worked really good...I re-adjusted my needles and they seem to be working better now...I'll have to fill up the gas tank to make sure that one is calibrated right....lol..It would suck if it wasn't

chances are if you took the needles off while your car was off then they aren't aligned right. You should've taken measurments of where your car idled while it was on, or during a drive on the road thrown cruise control on at like 50 or something and noted the rpms you were at. You would have to get going on the road again and try that way to put them on. but the speedometer should be fine if you took it off when it was off but your rpms will be wrong for sure, you definitely jolt the cluster when you take it out and put it back. good luck w/ your needles, and well since i'm a dumb $**t and just looked at your post saying they're working right, note that for future reference what you have to do if you are wanting indiglo gauges, lol.

I used the double-sided carpet tape as well. Stuff's great. I had my guages installed by a guy that does this stuff professionally, but to this day (has been about 2 months)... my car has sat ALL day in parking lots with over 100 degree weather, and the guages have not moved. This carpet tape has really worked! I would definately recommend this stuff over the poster board tape!
