i just took my emblem off and made my fingers numb from rubbing the adhesive... took some skin off too :(...

the crome around the overlay was ****ing me off for the longest time

I can't really seem to get used to it. When I see that, I think of a Cavi, and how they all love that hood.

Someone should try and make a hood like the Eclipses, with the little air scoop near the intake.

thanx for all of the compliments.
the scoop is cut out from a wrecked SS camaro hood, and molded on with Panelbond. it is an epoxy adhesive used to glue door panels and such on cars, it is strong and sandable.
the downfall is it is about $50.00 a tube and I used 2 tubes on it.
My total investment is $600.00 that is including paint.

Damn, that looks good...I guess there's a reason that that stuff is $50 a tube, coulda fooled me that it's molded on and not actually part of the hood.

It's a two part epoxy that he used. it's the only right way to do it also, I might add. Fiberglass & bondo will look great 4 a year or 2, then look out!... here's comes cracksville!:thumbs:

DAMN that looks soo good!! n it's not a huge amount of $$ since that's including paint too...for a custom hood. Kudos to u, :thumbs: I really like that a lot. I kno a thread earlier I didn't think I'd like the looks of a cowl hood, but wow, yeah awesome job!! :thumbs:
