?? about autometer phantom gauges

Ok, i saw molsons at the falls meet and he put red bulbs in them to make them glow red.

so my question is dose this work on all the autometer phantom gauges, and has anyone done it with blue bulbs. And if u have can u post pics.

Cuz really wanted to get the cobalt c2 series, but they only make one of the gauges i want in that series.

where did you check for the gauges? I know pfyc.com doesn't have ALL the gauges in stock.

I did..I'll throw a picture up for you when it gets dark..I've ordered a 4 led 194 for it in blue...hopefully it gets here soon..

I have clear lights...but with blue covers over them. It makes them glow blue. You can get them for about $2.50 for 5 in each color.

james, i know what ya need to make them nice and blue!! Mine where the white ones with BRIGHT blue leds. But the LED are kinda expensive

I have Question which Gauge best to use...PFYC has them but
the cobalt and lunar are spendy... i like get them cause it has the Air Gauge..i didnt see anything for Phantom..also if i got Phantom
how do they light up were do u Buy Bulbs?

ill prob go with Lunar But how would i get the same color as Dash which is Red..

I have the phantom's..you can just change out the light in them with the color you want, they are a 194 blub..

were do i get 194 bulbs at local autozone pep Boys...i wanted a Trans temp and air Gauge temp..but i dont see nothen for Phantom for the Air Gauge... thanks for reply

I have question i think i goofed...i was looking at the Mods at this site and it says its better off going Electrical than mechanical
what i did i ordered the Mechanical Oil Gauge Instead of Electrical
it says if u go with mechanical u can get a leak in Car Is that True?

anyone ever use a mechanical Gauge? i ordered that and i think im gona send back to pfyc... anyone have any ideas how too change the color of white Phantom Gauges? i made Mistake there too... i should went with the z series which are Black..i dont think white would look good in Black car...would anyone Know if the black gauges come with Lights..which match the red in our Cars...

the hole in the back isn't very deep and a bulb won't fit in there, any help??

hey, I have (had) the mechanical oil press. worked fine. Make funky ticking noises from the oil pulse. But what I did was toss the plastic oil line that came with the gauge and ran copper line. You know the temp fluctuations up here, and I did not trust the plastic through the freeze/thaw cycles.
