Well my bro just graduated from paint and body school, and I have been talking to him about adapting a kit to my car. He says if the body specs aren't too far off, that it can be done. Here's the kit that I want:

I have researched the spec on both cars, 3000gt and Grand am, and found little differences in dimensions. I also have visually compared while park next to a 3000gt. Another pic:

Hey, if you like it, go 4 it. Anything can be done if you got the idea & the cash to throw at it. I kinda like it, partly because it's tastefull & tame looking compaired to these ungodly looking apendages from *** & andy's.

imo, i think that type of body kit looks like it should belong on an import. you can do what you want and i am in no way trying to discourage you. it's just not my cup of tea

Of course the kit will have to be modified, so I'll smooth some things, and then try to blend it in to the whole car. I wish that i could draw or photoshop to show you my ideas.

The original kit is made by bomex. Here is their site, scroll to mitsubishi 3000gt.

I think the duct on the bomex kit is better, and thats what will give it the flare I want. But thanks your you opinions, keep them coming!

Well after talking to my bro this weekend he says we are gonna do it. Later in the winter him and I will swap cars and get to work on it. Of course I'm gonna help as much as possible. It should be done by spring, then I'll post the results.

here's a VERY rough idea.. i think it looks aiight, but it reminds me of a grand prix on top, and a civic bodykit on the bottom.
