6.5 speaker mounting?

I got a good deal for a pair of Fusion FPC 6.5 inch components so
I took apart the door to see what I might need.

I've read you can make a spacer from 1 inch MDF.
Was this just a flat 1 inch piece or did you angle it like the stock 4X6 mounting bracket is angled?

The mid-bass 6.5 has a mounting depth of 2.48 inches...
Will this fit?

I think I read there's a spacer availalble?
Anyone have the part #/maker?

It comes with a .75 inch tweeter. The stock looks to be .5 inch with a plastic bracket around it. Any sugguestions for fitting?
I'm thinking of taking a dremel to the plastic housing on the new
tweeter to make channels for the stock tweeter pod clips.

I hope I can make this work instead of going down to a 5.25 inch set.
