I have the Doctor Speed 62mm throttle body installed. About a week ago it threw on the SES light and the code was that the car was idling to high, so we turned the idle down to 676 RPMs or something like that(whatever it called for). It ran fine for about a week until the other night when it threw another SES light. This time it was code P0507-for the Idle Air Control valve-which means the engine idle was 175 RPMs higher than the desired idle for more than 15 seconds. Does anyone have any kind of solution for this or am I going to have this code cleared weekly?

Upgrade to a fully ported throttle body. If memory serves me correctly (which it often doesn't), Dr. Speed sells TBs with only the opening hogged out, which has caused idle to increase for others.

We sell two. The unit he has is the 62mm. Bored & Sleeved with a New Plate. We do not bore the regular unit.
A new IAC valve was sent, but I haven't spoken with him since.

The shop that did all the work is installing the new IAC valve tomorrow so they can adjust the idle and clear the SES light. I hope this fixes the problem. I'll post the results.
