Polish Wheels?

Is it possible ot polish the 01+ SE wheels... like 12 spoke or whatever they are(its been a month since i have seen my car :( )? Since my car is just sitting in my garage till the spring, and since I have free time once ina while i thought it might be a fun job. painstacking job but worth the results. I just don't know if the material they are made out of can be polished to a ncie shine or not. Thanks for the help guys.

if youre talking about the alloy spoke wheels. When I had them, I just used some car soap and H2o then used some Turtlewax or Mothers metal polish. I have chrome wheels now and I'll tell ya, they are a bisnatch to keep polished.

I don't know. lol Like I want to take my stock rims and make them chrome. I see a bucnh of people just sand down the wheels then polish the **** out of them and they get really shinny. I don't know what kind of metal are wims are made of so I don't know if you can do it or not. Hell even if I did know i wouldn't know if it was do able. So I guess I am askin if i uses like really fine we sand paper with they get really shiny after polishing them?
