Those w/ remote bass boost??

I posted a earlier thread starting i broke mine. well i cant find a way to replace it. Now what i need from you. If you do have one, or have one laying around and are bored and want to take it apart listen up. Inside it will bethe part that spins. its has a resistance value to it. Like mine say 203k...which is 20,000ohms. I was going to try and is if anyother companies used the same "pot" as its called. Thanks and you will be a life saver.

Have you tried attatching a DMM and measuring the resistance turned all the way up and down?

its in to many pieces....i think MTX uses at 20k pot......

ok well i kinda fixed it...i got a 10k pot so i get the full 12v and it goes down to about 7ish...so that means in only getting the upper end of my bass boost....but hey better than nothing i guess

so i added another lol...so i got most of it back just have to use 2 switches....gotta love 12volt costed me a whole $1.50
