Obviously 99.9% of you wont even know (or care) but my HS team just had a crazy win....

67-8 HD Jacobs Eagles win

Now we suck, we played Huntley (for anyone in NW IL who might know) and they obviously must suck more, it was an awesome game! To bad it wasnt a shut out...

Offtopic, kinda...

There is a high school (Elmhurst) in Fort Wayne that set the record for most consectitive losses (65) and in the first game of the season, they beat the #1 team in the state to end the consectitive streak. They even made ESPN.

My last game as a senior (1996) we played watkins glen and beat them 74-0
I'll never forget it, we put some of our line man at running back a few times and still scored, it was 49-0 at half time

When I was in 8th grade, my High School football team was beat 97-0. We made ESPN for that dubious honor.

Jacob's sucks.. Crown rules...hehe (sorry, had to say that).

Off Topic.. my alma matter (sp) NIU (http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/teams/nns) is undefeated this year so far and they've played a few ranked teams including Alabama and Maryland. They're a school to keep an eye on. When I went there we sucked ass hard core. I think we went over a season and a half without a win. Nice to see Joe Novak has turned things around. Keep an eye on Michael "The Burner" Turner to turn some heads this year.

My best high school team was 4-5 and we had 2 players who are now in the NFL. Well, one is in the NFL, and one is in NFL Europe.

OL Lennie Friedman was a senior when i was a freshman.... and when we scrimmaged, he kicked my ass. Drafted round 2 by the Broncos, and I think he's on the redskins or something now.

LB Brent NaCarra... played QB in HS, but switched to LB in college. He tried out with the Jets a few years ago and has been in NFL Europe since then.

My high school team sucked year in and year out, at least only the varsity team did and it did when I got there my sophomore year. Before going up to varsity, I was 29-2-1, then after 7-11-0.

The head coach was a knob and didnt know squat, I caught hell because parents were calling into the atheletics department asking the director to let me call the offensive plays (I played quarterback, started two full years and was brought up my sophomore year to start in the playoff game). This stemming from a practice in which the coach split up the team, unevenly with most of the starters on his team. I played on the defensive coaches team and he didnt know what to run on offensive, so he said have at it and boy did I gave it to the head coaches team. Salughtered him outright on offensive versus our starting defense, needless to say he wasn't pleased by myself showing him up. At a summer passing league tournament, I burned Brighton(year after Drew Henson left to start at Michigan) all over the field. Their head coach asked if I would transfer out there and play with an empty backfield and five recievers. Unfortunately I could not, I was just stuck in a horrible offensive system that didn't utilize the talent on the field.

I should have tried out somewhere, but football was just something I did in the fall and nothing I took that seriously. At least I got tapes to remember it by and many cheerleaders and pom pom girls to remember also. Hehehe

Our team made the news recently. Southridge Senior (my school) was whoopin up on Trick Daddy's school (Jackson) and him and his crew got rowdy and they were drinkin Hennessey and the cops came and found weed and coke on Trick and he was arrested. lol

Actually, "my school" just lost to Ole Miss on Saturday. :( Southridge is my ex-school.

On Friday, a Texas high school (Centerville) won 82-48 (state cumulative scoring record) and their leading rusher had 400+ yards rushing and the team as a whole had 800+ yards just on the ground!
