leaking upper intake manifold gasket
rotors that warp like crazy
power windows are known to stop working
Stock RSA's are known to drive you crazy when braking and turning at low speeds.

Its late, that is all I can think of at the current moment.

RSA's= The crappy tires that come stock on all Grand Am Gt's. Some people like them, but many people get this annoying sound coming from them when taking turns and slowing down. It is very annoying and really has nothing to do with the amount of tread left on the tire. Hell my tires had alot of tread left, but the sound is bad enough to make you spend 400 bucks for new tires even thought the tread on the original tires were good.

WTF? 300 shot of Nitrous?? Holy

As for GA problems, upper intake gasket, power windows suck, water pumps known to go out, small engine problems are common- dirty/clogged injectors.

Check the turn signals and hazard lights. The windows may be slow going up or down with a loud sound. Make sure the tail pipes are even and the front air deflector is still on the car.:D

The upper intake doesnt leak...its the lower intake manifold gaskets that leak.

yes...the windows suck...i can vouch for that. goin in monday to get my passenger side window to START working....sigh...

also....stock gt exhaust tips....my passenger side ones show a little rust....i got most of it off with a brillo kinda pad. and if this GA is a '03+, watch out for the dreaded fading alero mirrors....

I'll vouch for the power window bit as well. I just replaced the driver's side on my wife's GT and the passenger side is slowing down as well. Very cheap to do if you don't mind working on cars. I spent something like $30 for the replacement motor. It looked like the upper track was dry. I'll bet if they properly greased the tracks they wouldn't have that problem. Anyways, it was a piece of cake after you get the door panel off. The problem is that most people don't have a quarter inch rivet gun.

thats why in most kits they supply nuts and bolts....atleast at advance they do...but with our cars you might run outta room....exspecially if you have some 6.5's in there....mine are slow but havent dies yet....its a 99

The kit I bought supplied the nuts and bolts for attaching the new motor onto the arm assembly, but not back onto the door.

I just got it. It's a solid southern car with a high-mileage small block and whiny trans. I bought it for the clean body. I'm starting a full ground up/frame off resto and planning to go with a stroked big block rat. I'm hoping for low 11's/ high 10's.

It's not the RSA's themselves, but the combo of our rims with the RSA's.

I had the RSA's on a Dodge Avenger and did not have one problem with them and they lasted about 50K miles.

Is that what that almost a rubbing sound is comming from the front when its kinda cold out and I'm slowin down and stopping, or turning?? I just put new ceramic pads and rotors on the damn thing, but I still get this noise! I got Bridgestone Potenza RE750's about to go on it... think that will help??

Yup...new tires will help...GM replaced two of my tires due to the noise, and normal tire rotation will bring it right back. I have Bridgestone RE950 tires on my car now (it only has 23,000 miles, way to early for new tires) and the noise is gone, completely. Aside from a few other warranty solved problems I've had, buying another brand of tires was the best investment I've made on this car. Of course my CAI and Borla exhuast didn't hurt either!! I've had problems with my strut bearing plate also (dealer won't replace them, "cant hear it...B.S.") but I solved that problem also.

Awesome... the Pooty ZA's are going on next week. I thought the RE 750s would work badass on the car. Glad to hear that noise goes away... what a pain in the ass! Thanks for the response man...
