Excuse me for the caps but CUBS WIN!!!!! Up 1-0 in the series, we goot Wood!! Kerry was awesome, even helped himselv out wioth the bat. I truely believe this is the year. I've been a Cubs fan ever since I was like 3, followed Mark Grace his entire career up until he retired last week, felt like a chapter of my life ended there. But back to the game tonight, the pitching was awesome, should only get better, Prior doesn't even pitch until game 3, by that time we could be talking sweep and breaking out the broom!! Time to drink a celebratory 40 :cheers: all you Cubs fans download Steve Goodman - Go Cubs Go!!

All I gotta say is in the 9th inning wtf was Sosa thinking trying to stretch that little blooper into a double? That lard butt had no chance in making 2nd. He should stick to home run trots around the bases.

My wife and I were watching the game last night and she couldn't stop laughing at all the Braves relief pitchers that were coming in to the game in the 6th inning. The one guy, I think it was King (with the big fat belly) she couldn't stop laughing. She thought it was the coach out there pitching because he was so fat.

Great game for Woods, he really carried them yesterday. Nice to see ATL burned through most of their relievers too, that'll hopefully help the Cubbies in the games to come.

yes they were very lucky for not blowing it in the end. but woods did have a great game.

The plate ump was a bit....um.....inconsistent with the strike zone. But I'm glad the Cubbies won this one. Hopefully we can get two more quickly.
