Hey, ive got a 1994 Grand Am Se with the 3100 SFI engine, ive got no way of taking out my engine to see how the headers line up and am wondering if their is that much of a difference in the line up of them between the 3400 engine and the 3100 engine, i know the cai would work but i wanna know if the headers and possibly slp exhuast would line up close enough so that i could modify it slightly to work. Also if anyone has info on where to find slp exhuast or headers for specifically a 92-95 grand am, please let me know. Thanks

I am not quite sure on the headers...but I know they bolt up to the heads the same. The downpipe will be the issue. As for exhaust...there is nothing. I have a 95 GT and I am doing a custom SLP exhaust install this weekend. I got the muffler used (but in new condition) on here, and I am doing custom mendral bent 2.5" (stock 1 3/4" SUCKS) from the exhaust manifold back.

From looking at the previous gens' engine bays.....I feel bad for ya guys. That back header most likely won't fit....there's no room! I've heard that guys with berettas' can't get the headers to fit (bszopi) due to firewall and such. I could only assume the ga's are the same from that time frame.
