Going to go in about an hour to get the Gatorback belt installed on my 02 GAGT.. I'm just about 21k miles, and my stock current one is squealing like a damn pig in the mornings.. Sounds awful. I've heard good things about this Gatorback belt, so I decided that I would give it a shot. Other then the "Supercharger" type whine that it gives off, anyone notice and other pro's about it? Is it much quieter then the stock belt???
Thanks,
Jeff

only 21k w/squealing you should look at your tensioner.
Why pay someone to do this? It isn't difficult.

I had it changed because I'm not the MOST mechanically inclined guy. I didn't want to start it and not be able to finish it... I'd be kind of screwed then... Anyways, It's on there now. I can hear a supercharger type "whine" from the belt if I pop the hood.... I don't really know how it sounds outside of the car.... Anyways, sounds good, and I got a new belt, won't have to worry about that for awhile :)

The whine will go away after the belt starts to break in so don't get used to it. Sounds cool though doesn't it?
