I ordered the MAF to be cold air calibrated, but my question is when I change to the stock box for the winter can I still use the Pro-M MAF or do I need to go back to the stock MAF?

If you going to take the cai out you might as well take out the maf too but just to let you know that I have left my cai in for two winters now and have had no problems this far and it still looks brand new.

I appreciate the help but it dosen't exactly help with my question of if it will work without the CAI. I had the CAI on last year and twice it chocked out my motor by sucking in too much water, and another time when the fender got stuffed with snow. The car sits low and its my everyday driver so it has to run perfect. Thanks

I have been thought two winters (going on my third) and several small floods and have never had a problem with my CAI.
I would have to guess that when you go back to the stock airbox you should match it with the stock MAF since the Pro-M is calibrated for the CAI.
Worst case just try it and see what happens!

I guess the best thing to do is just try it im sure it won't hurt the car. Thanks for the help.

Same here but maybe we need to remind that the car is not a snowplow or boat.

dont you have your plastic fender piece on yet. there is no way snow should get up into the engine thru the fender

I do have the fender plastic in there. So I cant answer why im getting water and snow in there.I haven't gotten under the car to look, but thats what happened last year and also gunked up the throttlebody pretty bad. Bye the way good one on the snowplow!!! I gave my stock springs away (stupid idea) so I can't lift the car back up and I have to drive it everywere reguardless of snow conditions it's my only car. Thanks for everyones input
