Hey guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know that my little small biz adventure is starting to take off and after being here and getting all of the insight I have form Jeremy and Ryan and everyone else, I decided to become a sponsor.

Bandwidthlocator.com and its sister site Broadband4Home.com (Not Live yet) are basically internet finder sites. If you are interested in DSL, Cable, T1, etc etc, you go to the site fill out the form and once submitted I check availablity then get quotes from various ISP's. You pick the provider with the service that fits you best and only at that time do I forward your infor to them for contact purposes.

This way there is no dealing with multiple Salesmen just to get a good price. The Service Providers are AWARE they are competing for your business, therefore their proposals will offer you the BEST COMPETITIVE PRICES, CONTRACT PLANS, BUNDLED SERVICES and PROMOTIONS.

No more wasting time searching for Service Providers. Our Service creates a Comparison-Shopping environment, which supplies you with the most RELIABLE COMPANIES, offering the BEST SERVICES, for the LEAST AMOUNT OF MONEY.

Thanks guys

JD

JD...can you clarify something for me... right now i have a cable connection through Cablevision... i couldn't use another ISP since Cablevision provides my cable service could i?? ...sorry if this is a dumb question, but my understanding of cable connections is that i have to go through the cable system that has the contract for my town if i want a broadband connection... thanks for any advice you can give...

P.S. ...best of luck with the new business bro!!

not positive how this really works

in my area, if you want a cable connection, you're only option is comcast (they have a monopoly here). would i still benefit from filling out the forms if i know theres only one option for cable??

I got a news update on my pager earlier this week saying something about deregulation of the cable industry (kinda like the phone company a few years back). Just cuz Comcast is the main provider, doesn't mean you have to use them. Just like here in IL, SBC owns the cable doesn't mean I have to use SBC as my local toll provider.

Hopefully this goes into effect and breaking up the monopoly and bringing the price down.

Can anyone confirm or deny cable deregulation?
