I was wondring if anyone had the Sony XM-D1000P5 1600 watt amp and what did you think of it??? is good??? clean sound??

Also i have two Audiobahn 12's 1100 rms 2200max and a BOSS amp 1400 watt, i was wondering how can i make my highs louder bcuz my bass is just 2 loud?? new amp for the highs or new speakers in the front???

I haven't been all that impressed with sony as of late. JMO. As far as your high problem, I would suggest both new front speakers and a small amp to them. Go at least a 35x2 to the fronts and if you can go with a component set so you can mount the tweets up a little. Peace, Lee

I dunno what kinda highs you have, so it's hard to recomend something better, but if they're not amplified, they should be - it's a HUGE difference with ANY speaker.

As for teh bass - first off, divide the rated power of a Boss amp by 2 or 3 depending on the number of channels, and that's likely it's real output. Sony isn't a heckuva lot better. If you have the charging system to back it up, and if those subs handle anything like what they say (unlikely, lol), the JBL 1200.1 will beat the unholy crap out of them. Less than $300 shipped from Ikesound.com.
