hey I just got my alpine MDR-M1000 today from work has anyone ever heard one of these. I am going to be running them on two Polk MOMO 12" subs. 1000 watts RMS and 1800w

From what I hear on this forum they are pretty sweet amps. Although I wonder if its the amp or the name on it that makes it wanted so bad. But almost any 1000D made by any "name brand" company is very good. Peace, Lee

yeah normal price on it is $899.99 and I get it for $420 I already have the MRD-M500 but I want more bass

If you're running the 1000 to the exact same setup that the 500 was running, there won't be a huge difference, all thjings being equal (gains, x-over settings, etc). A little louder, but not night and day. Good amp, though. ;)

Gotta love that discount. I just bought 60$ worth of cable and junk for my car for 10$.
