I need to know how long it may take to install them. I need to know because the longer my car is in a stall it will take away from actuall buisness. My hook up has never installed headers on a 6 banger before but yet it will still be no problem to do for him. He would like to know how long it took you guys to do it so he can plan for the time it will take so that it will not take away from real paying customers. Thanks for the info. I really need it.

Depending on your skill 3-5H

I'd allow 6-8 for it. It took me and PontiacGT2k about 6-7 hours. He's done his in about 4 hours himself. Like Blackrider said, depends on your skill.

If you know exactly what you're doing with no hangups, 3-5hours.

Since he never done this before on a 6 it may cause some hang ups. I am confident in him for sure but all vehicles are different with this stuff. This is where it gets tuff to know. His skill is way up there but this is his first on a 6 banger. This is the way it will work. My car will be in one stall and they will work on it until a paying customer comes in and then they will stop working on it until they are done with the real customer then go back to work on mine. He may have to have it for a couple days in this case.

Got out of the car, started working with him.....damn was I burned out like an hour or two into it..... We did everything right though, that's more important than being uber-speedy.

5 hours including shielding some wires and hoses and rerouting a few other things. I think 4 should be do-able!

Ok, but for those of us who don't know the secret handshake to be allowed into GMs garages and unlimited tool access, it's a little more difficult. :D  jk Chris, I love ya man.

Andy, I know I'm a pain in the arse asking you to drive all the way up here, thanks a ton.

The entire team will be working on my car when they dont have paying costumers. So there will be 5 guys working on it whenever they can. We are gonna try and get it in there when its the slowest day for them. Which will be hard since the shop i am taking it to is always busy but he says this store has the best employees compared to his other 2.

The more people the better......when I installed my headers the second time I got them on, and the car running in like 2 hours with the help of a friend.
