hello , i work at pacesetter performance products , we are currently looking for a 99-02 2.4 N-body to verify what needs to be done with the 99-02 cavalier header to fit the N-body , we prefer the car to be as near to stock as possible exhaust wise .
also we would need the car droped off preferable at night so its cold to start on in the morning , this is tenitively going to be either this month or next .
also we'd like to have a car thats located here in phoenix az .
so please email me at eremboldt@pacesetterexhaust.com with any questions
thank you eric

I've already emailed Fred Gerle earlier today about it. I don't know if that was before or after you posted this. I'm definately interested in dropping my car off to see what's up w/ the header.

Hey have you guys figured out what needs to be done for the 95-99 Header to fit the 96-98 Grand am's with the 2.4L?? The one I got, the O2 sensor didn't fit at all. Collector is giving me problems too.

the header needs to made differently for the 96-98 2.4
from what a friend told me the collector hit the fire wall
on the 99-02 the only change needs to be the o2 sensor location

at this point theres no way around it that we can see , but we do plan to see what changes are to be made to get a header for the 96-98 cars
can you get a good deal (better than $150) on a ....oh....say a 2000 2.4 Cavalier header :D.

Can you PLEASE keep me posted on this change so I can get a new header on my car before GAP '04?
Lilred.....I have a 2000 so a 96 header won't work. :) Thanx anyway.

so if you own a 2000 2.4, the 02 sensor won't fit? when can we expect one that will? maybe an adapter or something? i thought i saw a 2.4 nbod with the pacesetters. i was really thinking of going with pacesetters w/ a nice hi flow cat and 2.5" piping to a single muffler.

Ive got the headers. To make em work, itll take you an extra 10 minutes to plug, then re-drill a new 02 bung on the opposite side that it comes on. Cake.

hey rba007 , hows the header working for you still ???
and we are working on getting a 99-02 in so we kind find a new location for the o2 sensor that will also work with the J-body
