Why the negative attitude? Because for the past 3 years, I have seen people talk trash about going to GAP "no matter what" and then when the time comes, only 50-100 people step up. I was one of them 3 years ago, but have come through the past 2 years. I am not saying that this person or that person won't register, but in general, more than 75% of the people who put up a challenge in this thread won't be there. Sure, make a list, but wait until registrations are confirmed (in 8 months) to do so......

I don't know, maybe Wayne's challenge will get some folks fired up, but the past 2 years, the people who could really compete with him were already there.....

Group 2:) With Better traction I could have hit a 14.7, for next year with a APFR TB 2.5 inch piping and a MAF I want to hit a 14.4

with the CAM, LS1 spings and retainers, Computer, and some traction i want to hit a 13.9:D

My Goal is to be the first NA late Gen N-body to brake 13's with a stock bottom end.

Haha... It has a Cold air intake, naws fogger system, T4 turbo dominic, i see an aic controller, it has direct port nitrous injection.

And a stand alone engine management system.

I hope to be in group 2, but put me down for group 3.

Best time was a 15.8 at Milan with no traction with bad mounts, transmission, and 2 spark plugs.

Now I have ported polished heads, intakes, custom SLP exhuast, plugs are fixed, some minor fuel upgrades and a better transmission.

I'll just drop it from a C-17...with a parachute of course. The keys will be in the ignition. We'll see how the scheduling works out. If I don't get an OTS class date before the picnic, I'm there...but I'm guessing that I'll go to OTS in April...which will put me just finishing up around the picnic time and traveling to UPT/moving all of my household stuff. I really doubt I'll make it, but you never know.

Take your time, add the elevation above sea level you are, divide by 22.82, then subtract 12, and thats how many tenths you take off.

Most tracks give you the sea level conversion factors. I got mine from www.lacr.net

Altitude Correction
LACR is 2,710 ft. above sea level.
To figure the altitude factor the formula is as follows:
ET: multiply your et (at LACR) by .97
MPH: multiply your mph (at LACR) by 1.03
This will give you the ET & MPH at sea level.

probably running low low 15's or high 14's all motor.....

heads are finished and intakes are gutted and polished....
i have a "new" gear.....yeah..a "new" gear.....

it kicks in when the old gears gave out....at around 60 miles per hour and keeps pulling to around 125!!! it is called a "head job"....it's a topend that doesnt quit like the stock one! my ga has a top end....never thought i would say that! Heads....great investment! ...with headers i h0pe to be mid 14's....let see if i can get em on by GAP....i plan on going this year. ? Just make it closer to texas!

I think once I get the last few parts (heads, LIM, UIM, TB, tranny, Delrin mounts, limiters) I have one order and have on hand installed I'm calling it quits. I'm not going to spend a **** load of money on a lower when all anyone can do is cry when I think I'll do better than someone else. So **** it.

BTW, if you haven't noticed, I do have dyno results, I don't have 1/4's yet because the car has been under continuous building for the last year.

I think some are on the super defensive and take questions and discussion points as slamming when it's really not. Lighten up, chill out, it's an internet forum.

Now going south, but maintaining distance from the general Philadelphia area = no problem.

Also, as far as when to have GAP...since nobody knows at this point...if it doesn't conflict with school schedules, an August GAP might not be a bad idea since the cam should be available in July (in theory). Not that GAP needs to be schedule around a car part, but a lot of people might like to show off some killer times for all of us to see, and the cam will make a world of difference to some of you faster guys.

...and maybe that's a rediculous thought.
