Well, thanks to N-body intakes I have a full Cold Air Intake on my 97 GAGT. Glad it's done too! That was a PITA! I purchased a 90* bend, a 45* bend, a 18" straight pipe, and five silicone couplers, along with hose clamps.(only need four)
It was very fun to build! I spent a lot of time during school in the shop figuring angles and making cuts. They had a really cool band saw type cutter that worked awesome on the pipe(sorry, can't think of what it's called)
I used MOST of the 45* between the TB and MAF, then chopped down the 18incher for to go to the filter in the fender, and used the 90* to get around the battery.
The 90* to filter connection needs a bit of work but it's solid enough for the time being. I think I'll cut a 20-25* angle on the end of it to help it connect better.
Enough talk, time for pics! If you have any questions or pic requests let me know!
