So I got the ATI and the ?'s I have are this: first does that little gasket thingy they talk about make tha much difference (mine didnt have one) Second, does anyone have the best adjustment how to make it work the best it would not squeal the tires goin into any gear but it does clunk really loud and bad (neither of which I wanted) so if anyone has the adjustments that they used for the best performance it would help thanks fellas. Once again my hands are in the best Gt forum in the world

I have mine set at around 1/4 to 1/3 setting. Anything higher, you'll be banging gears.

What gasket thingy are you speaking of? You mean the cap that goes over the adjust knob? Don't worry bout it....it's just a cap. If you're really worried about it, electrical tape will fix a hole.

Well, oddly enough when I left it all the way down, my transmissino started slipping again...so I would suggest at least like a 1/10th setting or 1/4. You want some advance in line pressure, just not a significant amount that will not only cut off the lube to your clutch packs, but will also kill your bands over time.

You having any of the problems UNC0808 had with his? He said the ATI was the cause of slipping, misfiring, and something else all at once.

Well....I've noticed a few weird side effects. Sometimes I'll be idling and you'll feel it wind and catch, like the line pressure on idle slips into 1st gear.....really odd.

In netural it seems to catch....also really odd.

Yeah, it's def. a quick solution to my custom tune by Speed Inc. later on....but it works.

There's no wrong way, just make sure it's not turned up too high. Put it at like 1/10th setting.
