The Worlds leading supercharger specialist Kleemann from Denmark offered its own special supercharger system to upgrade the performance and smoothness of the works current convertible, the SL 55 AMG in September of 2002.

The aim at Kleemann was to create the worlds most powerful and at the same time for every day use driveable and long-lasting Mercedes-Benz car.

A more effective supercharger system is being used instead of the works unit (AMG).

The reason for this conversion is: the Kleemann system guarantees much lower intake air temperatures which result in a higher oxygen density and thus more power and torque.

Another side effect: lower intake air temperatures increase the engines durability caused by less thermal stress inside the engine.

The final result is a max. power of 640 hp at 6400 rpm and a maximum torque of 656 lb-ft between 2000 and 6500 rpm.

A stainless steel sports exhaust system composes an unforgetable V8 symphony you can listen to as long as there is petrol left to be burned.

Special Yokohama high performance tyres (AVS) are mounted to Kleemann 9,5 x 19 ET 22 front, 9,5 x 19 ET 13 rear light alloy wheels. The front axle is equipped with 255/35/ZR19, the rear axle with 285/30/ZR19 tyres to guarantee full driving satisfaction in corners and when accelerating (especially with the ESP switched off!)

This set of wheels gives space for compulsory Kleemann high efficiency brake system which guarantees perfect break performance at any time.

Really sweet car, but it would have been nice if they would have put tires on that actually FIT THE WHEELS.

I am glad I am not the only one that saw that. Crap... how big do the wheels actually need to be? What... are 25's going to be the rage now? The rims with those tires look just plain stupid.

Otherwise it looks nice.

Also a little too low for my taste.

That 700HP Benz didn't look as slammed to the ground and the tires fit the wheels, I really don't get this thing. Oh well.

Otherwise it's perfect.

Aside from the tires not fitting the rims, and the camber looking rather ghetto, damn. Damn Damn Damn DAMN that thing looks pro.

Interesting... Says its suppsoed to have Yokohamas, but tires say Dunlop... Maybe that is why it looks weird...

Also says it's supposed to be 285s on the back wheels, yet the Dunlops are 265s...
