Well Kyle (dumpster) informed me of the trip, some how my manager and assistant manager were feelig very nice, and decided to let me have that weekend off! But Brendan just informed me of the milage.......NOT HAPPENING. If I ever plan to sell this thing, i'd get nothing. Plus I don't think I have 600 miles left on these Nittos, its supposed to be in storage by then. Damnit...

I have the weekend off..so I suppose time will tell, as well as finances and the weather. I don't have a winter car, nor any winter tires if I do indeed have to drive this thing..

I wouldn't have a problem if I didn't have 20,000 miles in a year on the car lol. Oh well, we'll see, hopefully things will work out, I want to see Philly.

I've got almost 9000 in 6 months! I'll definately be passing 10,000 on this trip. I've been to NY, VA, Toronto.... Wow. But it's been worth it! You really should go if you can Mike! :)

Well, I talked it over with my co-workers and assistant manager. On to speak about it with the parental units. I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. I have a 94 GA SE's tranny to fix, and a trip to Philly lol. My main concern is money really..if I'm goign to have enough for a hotel room, gas, food, and hanging out. To be honest, i haven't even really read into the ATCO thread or what its about. For all I know, its a track and its Pontiac Day. I don't know the finer details.

Still in the process of debating. Spoke to the parentals and told them I would be more comfortable fixing my 94 up before I left for Philly, so we're going to see if we can get that thing fixed up now. I get paid Friday, direct deposit so by the time I leave, i'll have a minimum of $700 (depending on how much commission) for the trip. That should be plenty I think, so that worry is also gone.

I'm also going to state for the record: I refuse to drink captains. Not even a shot. Thank you. :vomit:

Okay quick update on my last minute debating with the parentals.

My mom has pretty much said fck it, do what you want. At this point, i've gotta make some decisions and realize what i'm getting into now and fast. So I have a couple questions, and I would look and flip through the pages of the threads but i'm lazy, could you possibly help a brotha out?

1) Am I going to know anyone there?
2) I'm going to be the only underage person huh..(puts me at a disadvantage)
3) Is everyone staying at the hotel? How much is it, am I too late to reserve myself a room?
4) Adam, is it at all possible if I can ride with you if I need to? The miles are something I really should try and watch, but if you're bringing that girl, then I guess nevermind. I'll post more questions as I get em and find out myself or talk to people online.

Don't ALWAYS listen to your parents b/c they're not always right. When I was 19, I listened to my parents when they told me to transfer. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!!!!!!!!
