removing Vents to Paint

Ok i cant get the 3 stupid vents in the middle of the dash out. im gettin real frustrated and fed up. these are the last pieces i need to paint. any help would be great thanks.

Those vents can be a pain to remove !! What worked for me was I took a flathead screwdriver and wrapped electrical tape on the end of it. I took the screwdriver and pried along the outside and pulling on the vent at the same time with my hands. There are 3 clips that hold the vent in place. If you pry around the vent ring while pulling at the same time they should snap right out.

I just yanked the shi t out of them and they came right out :)

i got them out. they were a bit of a pain in the ass esecially the one to the left of the wheel, but they eventually came out.

For any one else that hasn't gotten them out yet i'll post a pic of what my coat hanger looked like. Its so easy with the hanger, it probably takes about 5 minutes.

the hook part on the hanger works like a charm so you can get right under the latch and pull. I hope this helps someone. Now mayber I should sell these hangers on ebay for 5$ and say its a kit, kinda like the iat mod lol.
