Instillation of SWI-X on 1999 Grand am

I would like to know if any one has the pin out wire number, or the function description of which wire I need to splice into to put the steering wheel controll interface on my aftermarket head unit.
I appreciate any help you all can give me.

its a green wire. i lost my instructions, bit you should be able to find it. i think its the 4th over from the side.

see, I did a search and nothing came up for a 99 with a delco system. I guess I should have tried another phrase but I was in ahurry to get at it when I posted.

But, I have it on the green wire and it still isnt working. The SWI-X's LED's light up and all, but it wont program. I dont know whats going on. I e-mailed the company about it but havent gotten a response back. Mean while, The SWI-X sits useless behind the head unit :huh:

are you aiming the remate into the infrared bulb or the box? theres a sensor on the box you have to aim it into. i made that mistake for a bout 5 mins and i almost went insane.

What wire are you hooked in to?

Should be the Lt Green at pin #4(might be labeled 14) on the 10-wire GRAY connector at the radio.

Should also be the same wire from the pac swi-x as the 01+'s

YES!!! it works. it appears that the splicer I had used, didnt cut into the wire. I found this out after trying all of the above and a yelling a few choice words at it. It works fine now.
