is it possible to install a HU under HVAC controls?

does anyone know if its possible to install a Single DIN unit down under the Hvac controls? Im thinking of mounting a screen in the double din slot.

easier than you think just have to take out the the lighter, and run some longer wires to the HU, and figure out some kind of way to mount it.

im actually about to do the same kinda install in the next couple weeks. im gonna make a fiberglass case to hold the radio and try to fit it in the w/ the cigg. lighter there
