I should be going, unless I have to work. :/ I will have a new PB before the end of the year.

I have a halloween party to go to that day. The car's running like crap anyway. Not much point in going after last weekend at stanton. Maybe next year, when the car's fixed and running 13's.:D

Did you go? If you did I didn't see ya.
DJ Cobol and I were the only ones there, unless people were there early and left. It wasn't anything great so don't worry about kicking yourselves. lol Racing was delayed 2hrs and we could only do 1/8 mile passes do to the track being wet just past the 1/4 mile mark. Nothing too exciting, a couple of blown rear ends, and a mangled drive shaft. Lots of cars, and lots of cool stuff. Supercharged Vette, Blown cameros and firebirds and a few turbo cameros and firebirds.
There was also a turbo Impala SS, it was trapping in the high 80's in the 1/8. Not bad for a tank with a turbo. :p

lol, I don't blame you, I didn't leave my house till 10:30, so I got there at about noon and still had a hour to cool down till the track dried.

Norwalk some weekend would be bad as hell. If you can't get a PB there in the cold, something is wrong with your car. By far the best track in the US.

from Lansing? hmm, map quest says 3hrs 10min, so about 2hr 45mins for us. That allows us a 20min food break some where. lol Its about 190miles from Lansing. We would have to get a hotel room though, test & tune is in the evening there. IIR.
Last day of Test & Tune was Oct. 24, so thats a no go.
I will keep looking for a open track

Well there is a strip in Mi. that will be open till Dec 14th on Sat. & Sun. during the day. Unfortanatly its in Lapeer. Its $25 to race and all drivers must have helmets and no passengers are allowed. You can rent a helmet for $5 for the day.
you can find more info here:

Milan Test & Tune's last day is Nov. 1st.

Most places you need a Helmet for a 13.99 but I guess cuz of the track crew there you need a helmet to walk. lol
