So how does this work exactly?

It seems like this design would be copywrited by JVC. After all it was the first Chamelion design (some of you noobs might not remember). So now what Pyle has the copy rights to the exterior design and they can throw their own crap on the inside or is JVC making a 4 year old product under the Pyle name?

jensen also makes one EXACTLY like that. ill bet JVC never patented it, or if they did the patent ran out.

I had 2 10" Pyles in my stang...they weren't that bad, even when they were powered by a cheesy 200-watt Radio Shack amp

That deck is made by Audiovox for about 15 different companies. It's not terrible, but I'd stick with the better brands.
Pyle made a 1/2 way decent speaker back in the day, and had a good name. Like so many others, they've been bought up and the name used to market scond rate stuff.

pyle is the worst brand i have ever carried. worse than pyramid and worse than legacy.

Ya know I always get Lanzar and Legacy confused is Lanzar a "good" brand or no.

Lanzar is fair. kinda pricey for what ya get tho IMO. after rethinking, pyle and legacy could be a tie for the ****tiest brand ever tho.

Lanzar is another name on the "was" list. Also bought out, also not what they were. Better than they were last couple years, but that's not saying much.... Avoid them.
