Trunk Key hole removal

hey since all the posts are gone i was just curious if somone would post again how they did this... like how they rigged it and all.... tony i think you had this done but im not sure if it was you or not.. all well

well his car was broken into, and the key cylender kinda fell out. he had a gaping hole in his trunk and when he had it fixed, he just told the autobody to leave the cylender off. so he kinda got shaved for free!!!

It was Tony...and it is one of the nicest things I have seen!!! Course he needs to get something on there (outlined GAGT from grafxwerks or something).

If you wanna shave it yourself, first rip or cut the lock out, you can rip it out with a screwdriver by jamming it in and pushing left, right, left, and then upwards and it should kinda come out. To close up the hole, pound the rough edges in with a hammer or something, and fiberglass over it. Then over the fiberglass, put some body filler. Get it painted then.

man, unless you have done this before, i don't suggest doing it yourself. i'd say leave this kind of work to the professionals.

Hmmm...thats how they broke into my car......Should I suspect you Brain???? :D I got mine done for like $300...Go to a body shop and ask around!! If your good at body work, then it shouldn't be too hard to do yourself...Pull out the old lock with screwdriver, then weld a little circle, then smooth to your liking then paint and clear....thats it!! But I i love it SO much!! One of my favorite mods:D

If i woulda thought of it I woulda broke into your car, then told you about it and split your deductable with you, then split the insurance money. :X If you had rims I could steal them too. :O
