It's back , we finally have grandamgt.com back. Over the past few weeks I have met several GAGT owners that have been interested inn having a meeting, so that we can all see each others mods and ideas. If anyone also would like to share their comments about this Idea, post'em... Like when and where's.

cool, we have a few things in common. Except my under dash neons are red. We both have the mesh grille and we both have 10 inch subs with kenwood amps.

Wow...what a trip boyz! Minneapolis was awesome. I met this girl the first night, went on a date with her the second night. Drove around town till 5 in the morning (i was leaving a 8am the next day to come home :p ) and found out that we had tons in common. She drives a Neon with a ground kit and sound system (that was a cool little surprise). Loves cars and knows too much about them, it's scary. She's like a guy in a tight cute little package. I told her she should come to Winnipeg one day and after a couple emails and chatting on the phone this week, she's driving down this weekend, and staying with me. Wow! She's arriving Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday after dinner so i won't be able to take her cruising at night, maybe KP in the afternoon on Sunday? Anyways, I need some ideas of what to do with someone that's never been to Canada before, any recommendations? Going to Grand Beach on Saturday for sure, after that, don't know. Help!!!

I reccomend Corydon for Gellati, The Forks just to walk around, and Applebees for Sunday half price appetizers once you run out of money. Since she has never been to Canada before and wants to check out some Canada wilderness, how about Assiniboine Park at the English Gardens and the Duck Pond? Good luck man, I wish you the best.

Me and kirk bought oldschool adidas tracksuits and aviator glasses, and both have old adidas hats. We are also gonna carry my big "ghetto blaster" and play old school hiphop, RUN DMC< etc. We ALWAYS do this! we go to the forks, then corrydon usually.. so if you see us, say something! unless you'd feel uncomfortable! but we're gonna try and be out on corrydon around 11. IF, he doesnt work, we'll def. be out :) i just talked to him on the phone but he dont know if he work:p

As many of you prob have school or jobs on monday, we will have to get started early and end early. My prefered time will be 7pm as then we will have some sunlight and the end time will be around 10. The meeting spot will be the george richards lot next to taco bell on portage ( its across the street from advance electronics ). Our meeting time should be 7PM sharp. I will be doing several shots with 2-3 cars lined up and several shots to where I will need one car in front( where I can shoot from ) and 2 GA's behind. If you really want to look good for the video, try to have a clean car. :D Mud doesn't look good at any time. Also , just so you are aware this will take some time, please don't show up and then decide that you wanna drive away and do something else as it makes everything much harder! ( for everyone )

As for my previous post about this sunday I just wanted to mention for those who would like to be in the video standing beside your cars, try to wear something...clean! I have already taking pics of Magnum and Jag, but for Magilla Jordie and anyone else who will be there Please be clean along with your car. So far I've goten about 30 secs of a rough cut made and its looking really good.

The Grand Am is a much Sportier car inside nicer Lines and curves. I find the Alero Interior To plane and "old Man Looking"

As for tonight I will be making an "Appearance" :p tonight for a little wile I'm dying to see Jegay's car again, I have only seen it once and i dident get a very good look. :( And I'll pop my good old hood and show you what up :thumbs:

Well I have finnaly compleated my List for spring. Crower and my buddy who did all my head work are working on a cam regrinde for my engine that should probably run me about 600 dollars, But with my head work and valve job is will see a nice kick in the a$$, Also well the engine is out i'm going to drop in a 3000 Stall Torque converter Get the RSM Mounts all around to keep that engine in place. Before Spring however I will be getting a proper Exhaust System (feel free to make fun of the muffler i have on there now, I do:thumbs: ) Also I will probably be ordering a set of Springs and struts but i wont install them untill spring and finnaly a 62 MM TB. I'm looking to spend about 5 grand in mods next year:cheers:

I will be working on the vid so I can get it done asap and yes I will cover the plates. This will take me some time because I need to put together some rough cuts and try diffrent shots, so pls give me some time... Don't rush perfection! :D

i didnt get in til 830, then i had like almost heatstroke from playing airsoft and was half dead. So i never even bothered.

You should stick with show and stay away from Go Atom. A GTP will run anywhere from a 15.2 to a 14.7. I took him by a car and from what I hear it is a pretty quick stocker to begine with...:cheers:

I just wanted to update you guys on a few things. The shots we got last night look great along with the original footage I have. I will however need guys like Magilla , Jordie, Andre (white *** kit) and Anyone else who wants to pose with their cars to Deffinately show up next sunday for a meet. I have Magnum , Jag , Turismo and Vimjah's pose pics but I need at least 4 others. I will get my own done sometime this week. I want to emphasize just how important this will be. This means you hve to be there!!!

I would also like to metion that for those that wanted to be in the vid but havent shown for any of the shoots, this will be your last chance and believe me this will be your last chance.

I don't want to sound like a Mr Evil but I have put alot of time and some money into this.

" I'm currently waiting for delivery of the flex pipes. The manufacturer is back ordered and will ship to me on 8\22. All other necessary items are in stock, and 35 sets of the GA\Alero headers will be manufactured. I'm estimating that the headers should be able to ship towards the middle of Sept. "

Everyone prey that this will be a warm winter, cause I want one good cruise ( no snow, no ice, no gravel ) on the streets before the white hits!

At the begining of th season I asked who would want to be a part of this, and I got a great responce but as soon as it begins... ________ nothing _______ . I mean a few of you guys have really helped out especially the one night when we got several motion shots. I try to provide enough forwarning , but right now I have 80% of what I need with little chance of getting anything else. I have 2 spots left in the intro for people that want to have themselves posing with their wheels. These spots must be filled and can only be done by people who havent been in already.

guys like Andre , Slick willy , neonboy ( if he's in the city ) ect.

I mean if you said you'd be in then you are in. I've put alot of time and some money so don't think that this is just something to be passe.

well since winter is here already, why don't you just cut it off now, and finish it up. The problem is, people have busy lives, things to do. When they don't have anything to do, then they get distracted by all of the sights and sounds on a sunday night. It's pointless to beg for anymore, I don't think you're going to get any more shots for this season out of this crowd.

Good News..Good News..Good News.....

I was able to get Blackrider and slick willy's vid pose and its all in position. I have also been able to get the nick titles done. Htis mean I will have the video ready for wednesday. Now I ask the question... Who's gonna host it???

I can probable get it compressed to about 10-15MB and still keep the quality. If anyone knows a good fast file host, maybe even ask the admins of GAGT.com ..nudge..nudge

PS : I know it will be cool, but I still wanna get as much cruising in as possible, so I will be out. Slick willy said he was going out as well so, who else?

I have a new question for you guys. I have spoken with a few dealerships and 2 have expressed great interest in affilaiting themselves with the MGAC ( Manitoba Grand am Club ). If is it ok with you guys , may I present myself as the President or Organiser? I want this to be fair to everyone , but I also want to get the ball rolling over the winter. If we can get sponsorships for our group we may be able to develope into something that might be recognized. I want to make sure everyone is ok with this.

yup i havent been by there in about a week...do you know if they got the trees in the back in the ground? anyway...i have news....the tails are cleared~! just dont look at the right one lol :( theres a bunch of cracks). anyone know if i can just get the lense from somewhere or will i have to buy the whole housing thing as well?

You can't buy or find just a lens, you have to get the entire thing. You should check a junkyard.

Awesome movie videoman....good editing and the song was well chosen. Maybe next time around you could including some exhaust and racing noises (doppler effect). But still is quite impressive. I don't have a problem with electing you as Head Cheese for the MGAC. You kinda keep all this together.

alright ran into a bit of problems...now my running lights won't work..and you know how when you press the unlock button on your keys its supposed to flash..well it doesnt do that anymore...and my gauges wont light up...doesnt seem to be a fuse problem cause ive checked all of them....any suggestions??

ya i can use high beams....fogs, normal front and rear running lights don't work, and my speedometer wont light up...but the change oil light still works....

alright took the car to the dealer today and the leds blew my breaker. so now im gonna go with 3157 normal red bulbs untill i can figure out how to get the leds to work, with some kind of load equilizer cause the leds are drawing too much power at the moment
