Digital Voltage Meter

Not sure if this is the correct section or not. If not, could a mod place it in the correct location?

ANyways, I was wondering if anybody knows how to make an LED voltage meter. I want to make one with blure LED's.

Yes, like that. I know where to get the guages but how hard are they to wire up?

Umm, what is the one on the left that reads "02.8"?

For the normal voltage, however, you could connect the voltmeter to the cigarette outlet if you felt that lazy, although that would suck because if you forgot to unplug it, the battery may end up dead. What I am thinking would be to take the power from a fuse that gives power to devices only while the car is in an on position(Can someone give a list of a few devices)

hey, a voltmeter wont draw from your battery, you need to have it on all the time... the only time a digital voltmeter should come on is when there is a voltage change... i have two digital voltmeters in my car and they only come on when there is a voltage change, i have a blue one in my dash, i took it out of a stinger batterypost, and hardwired it into my center vent, i went straight from the fuse box from like the door lock, but u can use whatevers hot all the time.. and alway put a fuze on it or you can burn our car down
