Windshield Problem, need help

This is dumb...but alright. i was doing some interior painting a few weeks ago. But i didnt like how parts I couldnt take out werent painted, so i left them in and sanded and painted them, but I left my sanding block in the car. Well i was over at my girlfriends house the other day to take her out to shop for her moms birthday, but her little sister had to come too. So we told her to go out to the car(the little one), and then we came out a minute or so later(no we werent gettin anything on or nothin lol), but the little sister had found the sanding block, and my windshield. She was sanding the inside of the windshield with it, it was 400 grit. During the day I have no problems with it, but at night, when light hits the windshield, all the little circles she mad are really obvious and annoying. Is there anything I can do to fix this without replacing the windshield? Thanks.

Man, that really sucks!! Umm, replacement, yeah. If you are going to replace it, you might as well throw a rock at the windshield(make sure it wont hit the paint), and then get your insurance to pay for the replacement if your insurance covers free windsheild strike repair. If you really cant do that, i suppose you could work your way to higher grits of sandpaper until you get to 1000 or so, and then take an abrasive polishing compound or scratch remover and then you might have something, but in the end, replacement will be required because if you did all that sanding, it would weaken the windsheild.

Man, sorry to hear that, but personally, I'd get the kid's mom to pay for dat sh*t! :D
