Almost a 5 min. video. Car- 99 SI coupe.
-JDM Integra Type R motor (B18C)
- NO Turbo, Nitrous, SC, or internal work. Just basic bolt on's.
also about half way in the video. That's a silver WRX STi that lost to him.

Dude even with cable this is going to take a while. You need to get a better site so people can download faster.

Thanks Seth... The video is hosted on a friend's site. So I have no control over it. I'm just posting it up on here so some people can see it if they want.

Damn a civic can do 13.5 with basic bolt ons? How much would an engine swap cost?

B18 swaps are no joke

Civic guy in cols with a b18 turboed and at 18psi PUMP GAS he put down 406hp on the dyno in the state of mass. He runs 12s and manages a 1.7 60' on slicks

g-damn FWDs :D

Not sure if you guys caught a few months ago... one of those ricey turbo mags.. they had a do it yourself turbo kit for the older hondas.

Friend of mine down here does some really good fab work, and fabbed a stock 2nd gen mitsu turbo to an 88 civic hatch.. stock motor and all.

Mods were
T-25
stock 1st gen mitsu sidemount ic
custom IC pipe
some honda manifold
2.5" dp and exhaust
all @ 8psi

Ran 13.8 at the track on pump of course. Stock honda motor with a dinky hair dryer at 13.8... thats not bad!!

Yeah that is a good video. he knows how to launch that car. most people with manuals have no clue how to get off the line.

Very nice... exactly why I like the Lotus Elise... a small, lightweight car with a strong motor gives you great acceleration.

with a 1.7 60'??? I'll say that's good... Seem like he did good since he pulled on that STi. I think he was boucing off the rev limiter at 9,000 during the lunch.

ah slicks... the god-send of drag racing. Good launch too

As for hitting the rev limiter, I'm pretty sure it was a launch computer. Its one of those things you can set at a certain RPM and floor the gas. It also sounded like he was power shifting... good driver. :)

[edit]13.50 at 98 mph, holy 60'!
