General Motors says it has signed a four-year agreement to become an official supplier of vehicles to the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix, Ariz.

The new Cadillac CTS sedan and the Chevrolet Corvette have been chosen as official vehicles for use at the school.

"This is yet another, tangible sign that there's a renewed emphasis on the performance aspects of our vehicles at GM today," said General Motors Executive Director of Marketing Services Steve Shannon in a press release.
GM will supply 28 Cadillac CTSs, 16 Corvette Coupes and four Corvette Z06s to the school to be used, starting in January, in new high-performance driving courses on the school's 1.6-mile road course.

The vehicles will be modified to include racing-type wheels, a roll bar, racing decals, racing seat belts, a slightly tightened suspension and dual exhaust. Other than that, they will be essentially "stock."
