Yup. It is to be dubbed the CTSi. I guess they're taking a page out of the hot rod Honda manual...Never thought I'd see Si on an American car. At least it's a V8!:D

Man, the V-8 powered CTS will be called the CTS V-series, they scrapped the CTSi name.

Think of the CTS V-series like this:
Take the GTO we will get, drop more than 300lbs, add a bit more hp. Now if that doesn't shed the "grandparent" car image the brand has had for who knows how many years now, I don't know what will.

Did dig, well beg to my uncle that works for GM to tell me a bit more about the car but the only thing he will tell me is to expect sub 5second 0-60 times and blast the 1/4 in the low to mid 13's.

Here I'll post a pic of the sucker that has been spotted driving around. Just give me a couple of minutes.

There are also some cool stuff coming out from caddy that I will start a seperate thread on.

Also, the current 220hp engine will be bumped up from anywhere to 30 to as high as 45 hp next year. That alone will drop the CTS in the mid 6 second range. I've also tested a CTS not to long ago and its :thumbs: in my opinion. The perfect car for boy-racer in us all.
