Does anyone know how to disable the chimes when you pull the e brake up? I know its for f*cktards who don't realize their ebrake is up, but it is annoying when I go to powerslide or whatever...

Permanently ground the wire on the ebrake switch, it's in the center console.
Other than that, uninstall your headunit, BCM, or PCM. Either one will do the trick.

would that cause the car to not recognize the ebrake at all? And I don't have the factory headunit...

What are you referring to? "that" has more than one meaning...
I almost forgot, you can get a better rear swaybar, then you can join the club of people that don't need to use the ebrake to powerslide :)

Well it opens the circuit when you pull the handle.. So if you permanently close the circuit, should do the trick. do it at your own risk

Only time you will loose chimes with an aftermarket head unit is with 2001+ models ;)
